How we rank

We do not test hardware or review products in person, and we do not score them. When this page talks about how we rank, it means how we arrive at a recommendation: we source the facts, date them, re-check them, and keep our opinion clearly separate from them. Here is the process in full.

1. Sourced

Every price, specification and availability claim traces to a named source, most often the maker’s or the retailer’s own page. Where only third-party coverage exists, it is labelled as coverage, not an official specification.

2. Dated and re-checked

Each figure carries the date it was last checked, shown on the page. Prices and availability are re-checked on a schedule against those same sources, and anything that has moved is flagged for a person to confirm before a page changes.

3. Honest about gaps

Where something cannot be verified, it is marked unverified rather than estimated. A product with no official Singapore channel is shown as not sold here, with no invented price.

4. Opinion, kept separate from fact

Recommendations are Landing Pad Asia’s own view. They are labelled as such, dated, and kept visibly separate from the sourced facts they rest on. We do not score products or run a ranking formula; where we make a pick, for example in the comparison, we say plainly why.

5. Independent

Landing Pad Asia does not sell placement. Some links may be affiliate links, which can earn Landing Pad Asia a commission at no extra cost to you. They never change what is recommended or the order of a comparison, and they are disclosed.
